In consideration of being allowed to participate in Synapse programs, events, activities, and the use of Synapse facilities (“Activities”, “Activity”), and with the understanding that participation is conditioned upon the execution of this Agreement, you agree to the following:
Your specific Membership details.
This Agreement will automatically renew at the end of the membership Term (every four (4) weeks) (the “Billing Date”) so that you will have continual access to classes.
On the Billing Date, Synapse, through its contracted service providers, will automatically charge or withdraw funds from your designated payment method. If your payment method expires or changes, you will update your account with a valid payment method.
A non-refundable charge of thirty dollars $30 will be made for any ACH or Credit Card transaction returned due to non-payment.
With two (2) exceptions, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
If you wish to cancel your membership, though we’d be sad to see you go, Synapse is committed to making the divorce as painless as possible.

YOU AGREE TO FOLLOW THE CANCELLATION PROCESS. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE CANCELLATION PROCESS YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW UNTIL THE PROCESS IS FOLLOWED.
The Synapse Guidebook (“Guidebook”) establishes the rules and procedures of Synapse so you can make the most of your membership and is incorporated into this Agreement by reference. The Guidebook is located at www.synapsestrength.com/guidebook and may be updated by Synapse with and without notice.
You agree to keep and obey all rules and regulations now in force or in the future prescribed by Synapse, for the use of Synapse training facilities, premises, and equipment therein, and Synapse reserves the right to immediately terminate this Agreement for cause if you fail to keep and obey the rules and regulations, or for reasons of nuisance, harassment, disturbance of other members or staff, fraud, or other conduct unbecoming a person within an inclusive, encouraging community (“Cause”).
YOU AGREE TO OBEY THE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AS DESCRIBED IN THIS AGREEMENT AND IN THE SYNAPSE GUIDEBOOK.
If you need to pause your membership for travel or any reason, all you have to do is fill out the membership pause form at https://synapsestrength.com/membership-forms/pause. You may pause an automatically-renewing membership two (2) times a calendar year for up to four (4) weeks per pause.
You must fill out the form on or before five (5) days prior to the day you wish to pause.
With a Doctor’s note, medical pauses are allowed any number of times and for any duration.
You are working on your health and fitness at your own risk and the risk of injury, trauma, and death is real. Your membership and participation in any Synapse Activity is contingent upon you signing Synapse’s Waiver and Release of Liability document.
Synapse cannot be responsible for your stuff, so leave the bitcoins at home. If you bring any personal property onto the premises of Synapse you take that action at your own risk. You hereby hold Synapse its successors, assigns, owners, officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from all claims which may be brought against them by you, on your behalf, by your family, and your executors, administrators, and personal representatives for any such injuries or claims aforesaid and you for yourself and on behalf or your family, executors, administrators, and personal representatives do hereby forever release and discharge Synapse, its successors, assigns, owners, officers, directors, employees, and agents from all claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, losses and expenses. This section will survive any termination of this Agreement.
Other Service Providers. Synapse contracts with other companies to provide services such as, but not limited to, payment processing, scheduling, and marketing. You agree to utilize and adhere to the terms of service for each of these services to the extent necessary to participate in Synapse services.
Termination of Membership. You may not terminate this Agreement. Synapse may terminate this Agreement in two different scenarios.
Media and Advertising Waiver. Synapse may take photographs, audio, or visual recordings of you at any Synapse class or event. Synapse may use this recorded media of you in any publication, promotion, article, show, and advertisement without additional consent and without compensation, in perpetuity even if this Agreement is terminated.
Consent to Physical Contact. While participating in Synapse classes you may be asked to touch or be touched by another classmate. Additionally, coaches at Synapse may use physical touch to help you understand a movement better. YOU AGREE TO APPROPRIATE PHYSICAL CONTACT DURING ACTIVITIES.
Note – It is never acceptable for any physical touch to cross a boundary that makes you feel unsafe or harassed. It is your right and responsibility to withdraw consent to physical contact before or during a class and to report any behavior that makes you feel uncomfortable. If you ever feel uncomfortable, please bring it to the attention of a coach and remove yourself from the situation. You may file a written report so Synapse may investigate the situation at https://synapsestrength.com/membership-forms/fileareport/.
Authority and Maturity. You are the person, parent or legal guardian you claim to be and are eighteen (18) years old or older.
This Agreement is for you alone. It is expressly understood and agreed that you may not assign or transfer this Agreement and you may not assign or transfer any rights or privileges granted by this Agreement.
This is THE Agreement. This Agreement contains the entire membership agreement between you and Synapse. No representations, warranties, understandings, or oral agreements between you and Synapse will be enforceable unless in writing and signed by you and Synapse.
Mediation. Any disputes arising from this Agreement must first be submitted to mediation prior to being filed in any judicial court. The two parties will mutually agree upon the mediator and equally, share any expenses arising from the mediation. The mediation will be held in Denver, CO, and must be scheduled to begin no later than fourteen business days after the day a party notifies the other party in writing of its desire to mediate.
Choice of Law and Venue. The laws of the state of Colorado will govern any dispute arising from or relating to this Agreement. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state of Colorado and federal courts for or in Denver County, Colorado, and agree that any legal action or proceeding relating to this Agreement must be brought in those courts.
Acceptance by Synapse. Your application for membership, as evidenced by this Agreement, is subject to acceptance by Synapse and will not be effective unless and until this Agreement is executed by an authorized representative of Synapse.
Severability. You understand and agree that this Agreement is severable and that if any clause is found to be invalid, the balance of the Agreement will remain in effect and will be valid and enforceable.
Electronic Signature. This Agreement may be executed by providing an electronic signature under the terms of the Electronic Signatures Act, 15 U.S.C. SS 7001 et. seq., and may not be denied legal effect solely because it is in electronic form or permits the completion of the business transaction referenced herein electronically instead of in person.
